    • Up to 20, general construction positions, some will be hired full-time to operate the plant.

    • Two phases, site preparation and secondly, installation and commissioning.

    • Total 15 months

  • Plant operations (40 hours a week)

    • Plant manager

    • Office Administrator

    • Two Plant operators

    • Two Plant maintenance

    • Two woodyard operators

    • Two labourers

Community Benefits:

  • Adequate power supply leads to better lifestyle in the community such as efficient heating, air conditioning, washers and dryers, Christmas lights, outdoor rink lights, improved street lighting, etc;

  • Sufficient power to allow community expansion such as a new school, more homes, more community infrastructure.

  • Power available to build a highway rest stop, a convenience store or to start home based businesses.

Potential For District Heating:

  • New School, Health and Community Centres, Fire Station, Public Works Department, Green house for food supply, Aquaculture.

Community Operated Power Generation:

  • 10 jobs will be created, plus 20 construction jobs

  • Revenues/Profits from Power Plant available for community use
