Algonquins of Barriere Lake First Nation launched a communication strategy to share information with community members and stakeholders on the proposed biomass power plant project. Communication tools include newsletters, powerpoint presentations and videos, social media, webinars, and in person meetings. It is imperative that community members, both on and off reserve, are aware of and understand the proposed project and can make an informed decision.
